BMW has just introduced the cheapest electric car to date, I4 Edrive35, which will enter production later this year and touched the road in the first quarter of 2023. But the company has prepared a new generation of electric vehicles. During the summons of Q2 2022 revenue, the German car maker described the next step towards the electrification goal of the fleet to be achieved with the Neue Klasse platform.

The first car based on the Neue Klasse platform will officially debut in 2025. In the words of the Chairman of the BMW AG Council Oliver Zipse, the new line represents “complete reset for cars and our understanding of mobility.”

The announcement actually marked the second arrival for the Neue Klasse Line, who saw the original introduction in 1962.
